Once a self-proclaimed beer guy, Andy never pictured himself in the world of cocktails. With over 15 years of experience in digital marketing for F&B brands, his curiosity was sparked the day he discovered the Vesper, a gin cocktail that changed the way he saw a drink’s potential. That single sip revealed more than flavour; it unveiled a story waiting to be told. Guided by his love for storytelling and strategy, Andy set out to turn those moments into something tangible, creating bottled cocktails that capture the spirit of discovery and connection.

Arthur’s journey into the world of cocktails began far from the bar, flipping burgers and taking on a variety of roles in the F&B industry. His path took a turn in 2016 when he was offered the chance to bartend at a private club, stepping into a world he had only just begun to explore. Hours of experimentation and self-teaching followed, with the Old Fashioned becoming a personal obsession and a lesson in how mastering the small details makes all the difference. Over time, he realised that every cocktail carries a story, a reflection of a celebration, a challenge, or a moment in life. This insight became the heart of Misen +, where each bottled cocktail is crafted with intention, capturing the essence of a moment and inviting anyone who drinks it to experience a story in every sip.

Ralph’s journey in hospitality spans bartending, sommelier work, and service as a butler, all rooted in a love for exploring flavours. His partnership with Art began in 2014 at a bustling rock bar in CHIJMES, where long nights and high-pressure shifts forged a bond built on trust, teamwork, and a shared passion for cocktails. After honing their craft together at a private club, their paths briefly diverged, yet the camaraderie remained, and opportunities to collaborate continued to arise. When the idea for Misen + began to take shape, Ralph brought his expertise in mixology and his instinct for innovation to the table, completing the trio. Together with Art’s creativity and Andy’s marketing acumen, Ralph helps transform each bottled cocktail into an experience, blending skill, story, and spirit in every pour.
